HI, I am running a trial version. Data take on is greyed out, we have started now in June, how/what/where do I add YTD take on figures?

Good day craigsa,
Thank you for your engagement on the community.
Please note that the data take on option is not available on the demi account neither there is no option to capture the YTD figures.
When you have signed up on the live server, you will have an option to import employees' data/ financials data from March or for the desired tax year period.
Also note that capturing employee financials and details data, the option is similar to creating the employees financials and details data manuallly on the system.

Thank you, how do I bring on YTD figures, is this via the import financial place, can I not manually just edit each employee?
Hi craigsa
Thank you for your prompt response.
Please note that you will need to create a new cycle and select March as your start date.
Then you will need to reload all the employees in the March cycle, and process March, roll over to June and you will do that until you are in your current period.
Once you have created the March cyle, you will need to terminate the employees in the old cycle, and close that cycle.
Then make use of importing employees finacial data, there is no option to capture the YTD figures at once.
Regards,
Khanyisa
Sorry also, if I want move employees to new cycle, do I have to terminate and create new?
Yes please, so that it does not result in you being billed twice for the same employees when you have went live.

Khanyisa
Ok Thanks, can I delete a company and start fresh? No?
Unfortunately, the system does not allow deletion of a company or a cycle once it has been added.
Id suggest that you process your demo until it expires then when you go live or sign up for the lice server you will create a company with a processing cycle that has correct start date.
