SARS asks for ETI reports and for PAYROLL TOTAL reports for THE PERIOD - specifically says for the period, meaning 202308 - the 6 month period.

The problem is the system doesn't allow you to pull a report for the 6 month period and instead defaults to year to date.

Thats going to create headaches with SARS as the totals are not a simple tie up exercise and instead includes figures for September October November etc.

Why isn't there a suitable 6 month report for ETI Incentive and for PAYROLL totals (NOT emp501 report, thats not what SARS asks for).

I know this is 4 months late, but hopefully answers for others asking the same question later..

When it's not possible to pull a report for a specific date range, I generally export it to excel and manually adjust it to show figures for the date range I need.

It's not a perfect solution, but it's a decent workaround.
