Employment Equity Report on Release 5.3b: Patch file available

We have become aware of an issue on the Equity Report on Release 5.3b where in some instances, terminated employees were included in the EEA4 section.

In order to resolve this issue, we have released a patch file for the Equity Report on Release 5.3b.

How to download the patch file:

Click here to access the Downloads page:
Click on the Patch Files tab
Select to download the applicable patch file for your application (Sage 200c VIP has a 32-bit and 64-bit version - be sure to select the correct patch file)

How to install the patch file:

Your payroll must be on Release 5.3b
Make a Full System backup
Extract the downloaded file to the system folder overwriting the existing files
Run the Equity Report again

Good Morning

I am not familiar with this report and I am not sure if terminated employees should be included in EEA4 report but my HR Manager insist that they are to be included.

In your exprerience what is correct because according to her they are supposed to be included but my report does not include them.

Good day. As per the changes for the reports due for this Equity submission, terminations are not included in the EEA4 reports. Please refer to our Release Notes for 5.3b that discusses all the changes as well.

Does the patch file apply to both the Classic and Premier system?

Hello Payvest,

The patch is for both Classic and Premier Release 5.3b - I see as per the page they only mention Premier, and will ask the team to correct this.

If you click on the link to open patch files the EE patch file is not there.
