The Workers Compensation Fund Control Board has issued a public notice which informs that the year-end for the WCF has changed from 31 March to 31 December.
For the current submission, which is due 15 April 2020, at the latest, the report must still be submitted as usual, e.g. 01 April 2019 to 31 March 2020.
The next submission will be from 01 April 2020 to 31 December 2020.
After 31 December 2020, all submissions must be done for the year running from 01 January to 31 December, e.g. the next full year submission will be for the January 2021 to December 2021 period.
A new report template is now available for the April 2019 to March 2020 submission.
Minor cosmetic changes on the WCF Form 14 Report template have been made which is required for the April 2019 to March 2020 submission, due on the 15th of April 2020.
Before installing the software, take note of the following:
- Your payroll software must be on Release 5.4a
- Ensure no one is printing the ETX report

- Select the Africa tab
- Click on the Download button next to Zambia WCF for Premier/Sage200c on R5.4a to download the Zambia_WCF.zip file
- Extract the contents of the .zip file to the Advisor folder in your payroll directory, overwriting the existing file (repeat this step if you made a copy system for submission purposes - extract the files to the copy system Advisor folder, overwriting the existing file)
- The zip file contains a document containing additional information regarding this change.
Take note: A release will be made available before the December 2020 submission is due, where changes will be made to the financial values that are required fro April 2020 to December 2020 submission and submissions thereafter. This will be announced on here Sage City.
