When you extract the Company Blueprint fro the Basic Company Information screen to Mircosoft Excel, the error message appears and the process halts.

A patch file for Release 5.6a (for Sage Classic and Sage Premier) has been made available to resolve this error.
How do I download the patch file for Release 5.6a?
- Before downloading and installing the patch file, ensure your payroll is on Release 5.6a
- Access the Patch File section on the Software Downloads page. Click here to access the page
- Locate the Blue Print patch for Premier and Classic: R56a (March 2021) item. Review the description for more details
- Click on Download to save the files to your computer (the download location will be determined by your browser settings)
How do I extract the patch files
- It is recommended to make a full system backup before extracting the patch file. Click here for more details
- Ensure no other users are accessing the payroll application, when extracting the files
- Locate the file BLUEPRINT_R56a.ZIP file which was downloaded during the download process
- Double-click on the .ZIP file, which will open with the default program on your computer
- Select to Extract All the files
- Select the payroll application folder as extraction location.
- When prompted to overwrite existing files in the folder say Yes
- Close the application when the extraction is complete.
How do I know the patch file has installed successfully?
- When you run the Company Blueprint extract, the Excel file will generate successfully.
