A report file has been made available for Africa Reports. The installer contains all the Africa report templates.
The security certificate used for all templates has been updated.
Note: The updated report file is only available for systems on Release 5.7a

The file may be downloaded from the Downloads Page
Steps to download and install the report files:
- Ensure your payroll system is on Release 5.7a
- Click here to access the Downloads page
- On the Downloads page, click on the Africa tab
- Download the report file e.g., " Africarep_r57a_premier”
- The file " Africarep_r57a_premier" will be downloaded to the folder specific to your browser (usually Downloads)
- Once the file has been downloaded to your computer:
- Locate the downloaded file 'Africarep_r57a_premier”
- Run the installation wizard, as per the installation instructions. (Sage 200c customers may follow the installation guidelines from the Downloads page)
- Ensure that you select the correct VIP directory.

How do I know if the file has been updated successfully on my payroll?
Access the VIP directory, and check the date modified against the Installer Log file. The date must be the same as the date installed.
What is a security certificate and why must it be installed on my payroll?
Applying this update is an essential part of keeping your Sage products compliant with the latest statutory requirements, as well as secure.
Sage takes the security of customer data seriously and works proactively each day to prevent misuse. Along with the standard legislative updates, Release 5.7a Reports is a mandatory update and will include an updated code signing certificate.
