Patch files have become available for changes associated with the following reports:
- Eswatini (Swaziland) ENPF Electronic NPF200 File
- Malawi P9 (Tax Certificates)
- Malawi P16 (Annual PAYE Return)
- Malawi Tevet Levy
A new statutory report has also been made available: Malawi - PAYE Report
The files may be downloaded from the Downloads Page or the Sage Portal.
Steps to download and install the new tax files:
- Ensure your payroll system is on Release 5.8a
- Your payroll must be in a new pay period
- Click here to access the Downloads page or here to download the files from the Sage Portal on the Product updates page
- On the Downloads page, click on the Africa tab
- Download the file “Report changes for Malawi and Eswatini (Swaziland) Premier: R58a (April 2022)”
- The file, “MW_SZ_R58_202204” will be downloaded to the folder specific to your browser (usually Downloads)
Once the file has been downloaded to your computer:
- Locate the downloaded file, “MW_SZ_R58_202204”
- Download the zip file and extract the contents to the payroll folder, overwrite the existing file. Ensure that you do a general recalculation in the company after extracting the files.
