The new tax tables for Lesotho effective 1 April 2022 is now available on the Sage Portal and Software Downloads page.

Before installing the software, take note of the following:
- Your payroll software must be on Release 5.8a
- Your payroll company should be in a new pay period before installing the new tax tables
- Always make a Full System Backup before installing new tax files to your system folder
Note: The download also includes the Malawi tax tables effective 1 April 2022.
How to download the tax file from the Software Downloads page:

- Select the Africa tab
- Click here to download the installation instructions
- Click on the Download button next to Lesotho and Malawi Tax Changes for Premier and Classic: R58a (April 2022) and follow the installation instructions
How to download the tax file from the Sage Portal:
Click here to access the Sage Portal and follow the instructions below:
- Log into the Sage Portal with you Site Code, email address and password
- Select Product Update form the menu options and select your payroll system (Classic or Premier)
- Locate and click on the Release 5.8a software update page
- Scroll to the Africa Tax Files and Reports section and locate the Lesotho tax files for 2022/2023
- Click on Installation Notes for more information on how to download and extract the files to your payroll
- Click on Download Additional Notes for more information on this tax file download
- Click on Download to save the tax file to your computer
