Eswatini's Parliament has passed the Graded Tax (Repeal) Act, 2023, resulting in the repeal of the Graded Tax Act, effective from September 15, 2023. As of this date, employers are no longer required to withhold the Graded Tax annual levy.
How do I apply this change on the payroll?
- Graded tax is a calculated in the payroll via a Method of Calculation
- Unlink your employees on the Method Linking Screen (MC) per employee, or can be done with the Global Activation function, to unlink Methods of Calculation
