2-factor authentication (2FA) adds extra security to your Sage account. Every time you log in, you need to provide a code to verify it's you.
This feature will be mandatory for all users as from 19 March 2024.
If you have not setup 2-factor authentication on your Sage ID as yet, you will see the following message when you log into your Sage ID:
- Select 'Set up 2-factor authentication' to complete the process, to be able to authenticate using an authenticator app, or receive the code via SMS or voice call
- Once you setup 2-factor authentication, you can have your Sage product 'remember you' the next time you log in. This means you only enter a second form of verification via passcode for 30 days
