TERS Rejected ID Numbers

I was hoping for some advice regarding the TERS application.

As we were having issues uploading the csv file, we decided to bite the bullet and upload our 184 staff manually onto the online system. When we submitted, it stated 25 ID numbers were rejected, and gave us a list of the ID numbers. However, they did not give us a reason for the rejection. I checked the names, and all the people rejected have surnames from P-Z. (But not all staff with surnames from P-Z were rejected). The staff do not have anything in common, different age groups, start dates etc. all with Valid ID numbers. There is no reason they should have been rejected. 

I tried to reload these employees to submit again, but the system states that the employee is already registered. What do I do? I emailed the CovidTERS email address, but I did this previously with queries and they never got back to me. 

How can they reject people without giving us reasons? 

I would really appreciate your help/guidance on this.

    I had the same experience yesterday with 20 employees uploaded manually.  According to the SAIPA webinar with UIF personnel this afternoon only 10 employees or less can be added manually.  For more than 10 employees csv file must be used.

    Oh no, I wish they stated that on the website. The reason we did it manually was due to the issues around the csv file being rejected. 

    Did you then upload all 20 staff using the csv file upload?

    Hi TessaQ,

    There was other users also complaining that they could not upload, even though the file is in the correct layout.

    The only issue I am aware of was where the .csv file was save with a .CSV extension (capital letters) - changing the extension allowed the file to upload.

    If I may ask, which file generator did you use - the ODBC one, or the new that became available earlier this afternoon?

    No, I could not upload the csv file in the first place trying since Friday. 

    Status message appeared    "Employer not yet captured.If CSV file is sent. The file was Invalid and hence failed loading.Please Resend the file."     

    I changed the file name as indicated in the latest instructions (add _MOA_A in file name).  Tried again twice and then decided to upload manually.

    I see the website is down now. Maybe they are working on it?  Patience is the answer - I hope!
