Password

SUGGESTED

A client of mine is trying to combine three different pdf payslips into one pdf document for a staff who requested for this to be done for them. We are combining these PDFs using Adobe. On doing so each document requests for a “document open password.” We keyed in the password that the staff uses to open their individual payslips and this did not work. We also typed in the Payroll Admin password and this too did not work. Which password are we supposed to use? Individually all the payslips are opened using the staff’s ID Number on their record.

Anyone has been faced with this before? Still waiting to hear from support, the client needs this urgently will not stop calling.

Thank you.

    Hi Sue,

When you generate payslips to PDF, you can select not to add a password if you keep the block unticked on the Payslip Print selections:

This should allow you to create separate PDF documents, that does not require password. (This option is also available for History Payslips).

If a password has already been added at print-tie, it will not be able to be removed from the PDF.
