Hi All,

Note that we've recieved increased amount of queries regarding this notification when we try and run ODBC report and in SMART.

We did follow the following steps:

Solution ODBC:
 Open VIP and log into a company
 Click on Utilities > VIP ODBC Configuration
 Click on permissions
 Start with the 1st company > CLICK on the user name (person running the report)
 Make sure all the permission blocks are ticked
 Do this for all the companies (make sure to click on the user name every time as itdefaults to the top name, which might not be the user having the problem)
 Once done, apply changes
 Open you report and make sure the correct companies which the user has access to isselected or inserted
 Test report

We did check the following too

EXCEL 2010 > Click on File > Help > make sure the package is on 32-bit; if it’s on 64-bit, IT will need to uninstall office professional and reinstall the 32-bit version of office with all features and add-ins
 EXCEL 2013 > Click on File > Accounts > About Excel > make sure the package is on 32-bit; if it’s on 64-bit IT will need to uninstall office and reinstall the 32-bit version of office professional with all features and add-ins

Any other things we can look at?

Regards
