CSV File error

Good day,

I have a client with a CSV File error when importing into Easyfile.

According to payroll validation everything was in order and the CSV File generate but when it gets imported into Easyfile it fails to import with this reason.

End of Record is last code of the Employer's record and may not be followed by any other character Extra text after Employer EOL Marker - code 9999 

And then the first certificates details follow.

I have tried editing but the error still pops up.

Can anyone maybe assist in correcting this?

    It sounds as if the file has values/characters after the end of file marker on the employer information which is 9999, of line 1.

    Look at the file in Notepad to ensure that nothing appears after the 9999. It is possible that someone edited the file incorrectly. I would recommend that you delete the file and create a new one for import into SARS e@syFile

    ps. Ensure that your customer is importing IRP5.21 and not IRP5.MST
