ETI Relief August 2021

I have installed the Update 5.7a

I note that only employees who normally qualify for ETI have had the additional amount added.
The SARS notes indicate that all employees under 65 who earn under 6500 attract ETI under the relief scheme.

    Hi Aelred Drake,

    We would recommend to review the employees where Additional ETI is expected, Employee ETI History screen for August (Accessible from the Payslip Screen)

    The employee's record must be setup correctly and must meet the criteria to qualify for ETI, whihc will be based on how the employee record is linked.

    There are a few things to check if an employee does not qualify for ETI:

    - Is the employees ID number valid? 

    - Is the employee linked to the correct minimum wage code? (not allowed to be R2000)

    - Is the employee linked to Wage Regulating measure? (in line with legislation change for additional ETI relief)

    - Is the employee's minimum wage the the same or greater than the linked minimum wage? 

    - Review the Comment section - this will indicate the reason why the system does not calculate ETI
