UIF DECLARATION VIP PREMIER: ERROR ON TERMINATION DATE

we are checking every month our UIF declaration for rejections on the VIP Premier report, but now it came to our attention that there are rejections on the Unemployment Fund submission.  These rejections we don't pick up on the VIP Premier report:

1.  An employee that we terminated and re-instated again.  The termination date keeps pulling through, although we changed the "Employee Status" to Normal again.

We normally do this because of a CCMA outcome.  Is there another way to remove the termination date on the UIF declaration?

    Hello Rina,

    The UIF termination date is linked to the termination of a record, however should update when a record is reactivated - we assume in your case, the reactivation is backdating as if the employee record was never terminated.

    I would recommend to review the employees Employee Information screen Statutory tab, and confirm if the UIF Status is "Active", and if you click on the magnifying glass, confirm the UIF start and End date.

    If the record is inactive, please change the status and update the UIF Start date. Should you require any assistance of the solution provided does not resolve the issue, please contact the Sage Customer Support team to review.
