Thank you for contacting us on the Sage City forum. 

Please follow the steps below to resolve the error: 

• Close all applications (VIP and Excel) 
• Click on Start > Computer > C Drive > Windows
• Locate the ODBC.INI file and open
• Remove the Transoft and expiry date lines (make sure there are no open lines in the string) 
• Click on File > Save
• Re-apply changes in ODBC
