Backup Import

Good day,

I am using Sage VIP Premier and I have a new client whose payroll I must process from this month.

This client uses Sage Online.

Please advise on the following:

1. How do they make a backup on Sage Online to send to me?

2. Can I import a Sage Online backup into VIP Premier? If yes, please arrange for a consultant to contact me to help me with this (I am aware that I will pay for this service).

    Hello Leandra,

    If you say Sage Online, which payroll are you referring to: Sage Business Cloud Payroll Professional (SBCPP) or Sage Business Cloud Payroll (previously Sage One)?

    If SBCPP, you will need to log a ticket with Sage support for them to escalate to the dev team to see if they will be able to extract and download a backup for you. This you can then import into Premier yes.

    If Sage One, unfortunately only fixed employee data and financials can be exported and the rest of the setup will be a manual process.
