ESS Latest Update

We are currently trying to reinstall ESS, but Sage consultants identified the problem as flashplayer not being installed to run the ESS install. 

We struggled to update ESS, and as a result, ESS got completely uninstalled, but now we can't reinstall ESS without flashplayer. 

Does anyone know what version of Flashplayer is needed to install the newest ESS update?

    Thank you for contacting us on the Sage City forum. Please note that the flashplayer has been discontinued. I would suggest that you log a webform with us, so that we may be able to investigate the error that you are getting and be able to assist further.

    Thank you so much for your reply! 

    I have had multiple consultations with Sage consultants, the only way to fix ESS in the interim is to download and install flashplayer according to Sage, as it seems we need to update our server from 2012 to 2016 / 2019. 

    The only way to get it to work in the interim is to somehow get flashplayer to run the install. Hence my question for what version of flashplayer is needed, as I do still have it, but it might be the wrong version.

    Hey Beulah, 

    As I said in my previous post, the flash player has been discontinued and we don't use it anymore. Hence I suggested that you log a webform so that we can see the error you are getting and see how best we can solve this.
