Version 6.1b - New Companies not running ODBC

Hi

Since updating to version 6.1b we have added two new companies (once copied from an existing and one completely new).  ODBC set up was added, users were added and the apply changes were made.

All our existing companies can generate both SMART reports and refresh customised ODBC reports however the two new companies give the below errors.

Any advice? Historical posts for this entry might not be applicable since the change in system config.

    Hi Vone,

    The following solution should resolve the issue:

    • Access the Sage VIP system folder
    • Locate the file 'CBLCONFI' and open it with Notepad
    • Add the following configuration line V_VERSION  5 in the file as in the example below (you file might look different):

    • Access Sup Help (Support Help) from the Company Listing screen, perform a rebuild for the specific company. Click here for more information to perform the rebuild.
    • Once completed, Apply changes to refresh the data source
    • You will be able to extract the data
