ANNUAL LEAVE PROVISION

SUGGESTED

Hi,

I have recently setup a leave pay provision line on the payroll.  Initially we were not processing the G/L via the export option but the finance team was doing it manually, so I set up the method to calculate the full liability on a monthly basis by using Annual Leave Balance Due at end x Rate Per Day.  the problem is that when I calculate this figure manually the amount does not balance to what is reflected on the 12 month report.  I've calulated both balance x rate per day as well as balance x BCEA rate and neither balance to what the amount on the 12 month report shows.

I've reverse checked the calculation, but I can't figure out why it doesn't balance to my manual calculation.

Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

    Hello ,

Your payroll calculation should  calculate the value based on the Leave due at End on the Leave Days screen and the selected rate (Termination/BCEA rate or Rate Per Day).

Maybe the best is to give an example of your calculations  and screens reflecting the values (no personal details) and you Method of Calculation, might help us to review and see what might be the issue.

You can also contact you Business Partner or Sage Customer Support with the details to review.
