MOC deduction calculation round decimal to 4 but actually need 5.

SOLVED

Hi

We have a MOC setup to calculate a deduction that is 1.231% on the annual basic salary.

When entering the value in the MOC as 0.01231 VIP round it back to 0.0123 which gives a wrong deduction value.

How I do the calculation to get the correct value?

    Hello

The Methods of calculation fields only allow up to 2 decimals in financial calculation fields.

Your calculation should be done with 1.231%, which converts to 0.01231

The solution would be to multiply your percentage with a 1000, so that the calculation is done with a value of 12.32. Once you have applied the calculation, divide the calculated amount by a 1000 again, which will provide you with the decimal value as expected.
