Your post has raised a concern - Release 5.9a was releases September 2022, thus includes the 2022/2023 tax tables.

If your tax year-end copy system for 2024 (March 2023 - February 2024) is still on the 2022 release, the tax tables are incorrect.  The system would have stopped you in April 2023 to start a new pay period (to ensure you are on the correct release and tax tables).

The software updates will need to  be install sequentially following the steps below:

1. Create a Full System Backup prior to installing the new software
2. Download and install  the Release 6.0a software from the Sage Portal
3. Open system to convert data to 6.0a version (tax tables are different, thus will recalculate PAYE)
4. Create a Full System Backup prior to installing the new software
5. Download and install  the Release 6.1a software from the Sage Portal
6. Open system to convert data to 6.1a version
7. Create a Full System Backup prior to installing the new software
8. Download and install  the Release 6.2a software from the Sage Portal
9. Open system to convert data to 6.2a version
