I'm afraid the real answer is dependent on the version of the program you are using and what boxes you think you need to check.

If you are talking about the Company Logo checkbox under Setup, Reports & Forms, Invoices, then did you review the information in the help beside it and follow those instructions? When you customise there is three buttons at the top left of the screen. The bottom one is for adding any image.

As for format, when you get into the setting up of an image either in the Forms Customisation dialogs or in the Company Logo setup, it will tell you the image formats that the program can use and it is dependent on version. Older versions cannot use *.png. No version can use a pdf because that is not an image format.
