can you give more details?  Are you working on 2018.1?  how are you looking up payment?

It's probably not broken.  It's never been possible to look up certain payments from the aging report, or to look at a transaction that has been adjusted.

All payment transactions that haven't been 'cleared' can be looked up from the journal entry.  

I may be able to give you more specific direction if you could provide the version of the software that you are using, and which screens you used to make the payment, and whether it was a cheque, credit card, etc.
