Black Cells in Purchase Journal

Hello, I have been searching for hours on how to eliminate the black cell in my Purchase Journal screen. This always happens after a Windows update. I have a Surface Pro 3 with a touch screen which I did turn off as that has always been the issue in the past. It did not work this time after many Sage and system restarts. I have also tried changing my settings to default for color scheme, made sure the mouse is on the correct setting etc. Essentially the small amount of info I found online, I tried. Very frustrating because I have turned off the touch screen before and been good to go but not this time, any suggestions?
