I wouldn't hold my breath. 

The Sage 50 U.S. (Peachtree), Canadian (Simply Accounting), and U.K. (Line 50) are completely different products that share little other than common new name.

They may share some common source code components or a few common specifications, in the way that various vehicle makers perhaps use a standard lighter plug.  

There may once have been a plan to choose the 'best' features and combine them into one program that later proved impractical.  It appears that little was done other than the name change on some marketing materials and program graphics, and that was a long time ago.
