Loss of customized transaction window

Hey everyone, I am having an issue with my purchase and sales windows where once you close a company file and someone else opens it, you loss your customized order for columns. Anyone know why and where I can find the fix for this issue. I haven't been able to find anything online. Thanks

    It's a feature, not a bug.

    Each user profile has its own customizations.  Also, Sage appears to store the screen column positions for each monitor size.  (so the columns may resize when a different Windows user logs in)

    To customize the columns in an existing profile, the user will have to be (temporarily) set to have 'full accounting rights'.

    To set a default, I believe you can customize the columns for the 'sysadmin' user, then create the user profile.

    What all that allows, is quick setup of new users, and any user without 'full accounting rights' won't be able access the columns that are hidden. 

    They may find creative ways to hide columns they need, like smashing the sides together to make the column zero width, so don't think your phone is never going to ring.
