To automatically print the billing period on your invoices you can set up a recurring invoice with the billing period entered on the  first line in the description field. When it is recalled it will show the billing period in the description field. To do multiple billings just change the customer and start your actual charges on line 2 as you normally do. One other suggestion is to create a service item in inventory for the billing period. When creating your sales invoices just use the service code for the 1st line item to be billed then on the 2nd line enter your actual line item charges.

We use a 28 day billing cycle, billing period changes based on the customers first bill date. So for example month one for customer 1 he is billed the 1st to the 28th second customer could be 3rd to 30th. Then the next month customer 1 would be billed 29th to 25th of the following month and customer 2 would be billed 31st to 27th. I don't want to change the invoicing date. The way you are saying is not exactly what I was looking for.
