I would think you can if the hours are consistent for both pays. If they are not it would only affect EI for any terminations or layoffs. You can also adjust the previous payroll to the correct pay period and either print up (or not) revised pay slips for the staff. That will definitely correct your payroll in Sage 50. Printing revised pay slips may confuse the staff.
