Is this computer running Norton by chance? There has been a lot of talk in the forums lately about Norton interfering with the new update of Sage. In both cases, a call to technical support was necessary. If you aren't running Norton, try going to your Task Manager and making sure that Sage isn't already running in the background somehow.
