Sage Direct Debits

I have done a search for this term and come across nothing for Canada. A client received an email from [email protected] about a "request for a new unique code for your Sage product."

The client does not believe that they did anything but there is always a possibility that something was unknowingly clicked on triggering this message.

I phoned in to support and they would only say that the client must have signed up for an add on and the client would have to call in as they cannot discuss account specifics with me (external accountant).

Anyone have an insight on whether this is just a phishing email or something legitimate?
