Hi Sandi:

Linked accounts will not show when you use the General Journal. A linked account would be as an example Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Vacation Payable, Retained Earnings, Purchase Prepayments, Prepaid Sales/Deposits, etc.. You are unable to make General Journal  entries to these accounts because they are linked to the subsidiary ledgers. You can find your linked accounts from the main menu Setup, Settings, the module E.G. General, then Linked Accounts. Please do not change any of these linked account settings unless you know what you are doing and know the consequences!
