    Hi Boutique24,

Thank you for reaching out. Please see KB 81720 on How to sync Sage 50 CA with Microsoft 365

    Sage 50 to O365 Reconnect - Resolution

Note: Make sure you have your Microsoft 365 account information. You must sign in with the Microsoft 365 Business Standard License (new with Sage 50c subscription or existing Microsoft 365 subscription)

    To connect to Microsoft 365:

    1. In the Home window on the File menu, choose Microsoft 365 Integration and select Connect to Microsoft 365
    2. Enter your Microsoft 365 account information and then click Sign in
    3. Click Next and then Upload. Once complete, your Sage 50 Accounting company is now synced with your Microsoft 365 account
    4. Click Finish to close the window

    ______

Alternatively, if your Sage 50 company was set up for multi user data entry using the service called Remote Data Access. Please check whether the main machine you've been working with, shows this "shared" checkmark?

If so, it's an indication that the file is uploaded online and is up to date. Hopefully, all newer input transactions have been entered into this data set, as it's not possible to merge transactions from a duplicate company data file.

KB 88971 on how to download a company file shared with Remote Data Access, shares the following resolution steps for how to re-sync your other computer to use the same uploaded file found on the first.

If you require further support from here, please contact Sage Support via online chat or phone (please note that the Sage 50 CA support phone number is 1-888-522-2722) during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm ET). Hope this helps!

    Important:

    • Sage 50 must be installed on the computer where you would like to download and work on your file
    • See KB 74018 Sage 50--Canadian Edition: Download Portal to download the latest version

For Sage 50 2020.2 and higher: Connect to a shared company (Remote Data Access)

    • The option to download a file stored via Remote Data Access can be accessed from two places:
      • If the Select Company window at start up is turned on, you will have an option to Connect to a shared company and OK when first opening Sage 50
      • Alternatively, from within any open company file, click on File, Connect to a shared company...

    Steps:

    1. Select Connect to a shared company as per above
    2. In the Connect to a Shared Company window, note the listed steps and click OK
    3. If you have already created a Sage account, enter the email address and password associated with it and click Log in. If you do not yet have a Sage account, click Create Account and follow the prompts to create a Sage account.
    4. In the Shared Companies window, select the company you want to access.
    5. Click Connect to open the Save As screen.
    6. Update the location and file name if necessary and click Save to begin the download.
