Am I Wasting My Time?

Sorry if I put this posting in the wrong place!

I'm trying to examine some old Simply Accounting files.

I found the program, but it won't run (too old), anymore.

Are the associated General Journal, etcetera file contents lost?

Or is there still a way to access those files?

The answer to your question is maybe.

What version of Simply/Sage 50 Accounting is the data set? There is a process that has to be gone through to update the data if the old program is no longer available. If you are no longer using Sage 50/Simply Accounting there might be a consultant who can convert your data and run the required reports for you. If you are still using Sage 50 in a newer version your data could be updated to the version you have in use.

Remember please that consultants are independent business people and not Sage employees so there will probably be a charge for the service.
