Inventory/Asset

Question

I have 3 accounts that are "greyed out" (I cannot post to them) - 2 are inventory accounts and one is an asset account, that it says is linked but I cannot find ANYWHERE this account is linked to anything. I have checked all vendor account cards to ensure that none of them are in there as an automatic account to post to and I have checked all linked accounts. Any ideas why these would be greyed out so that I cannot post to these accounts? Many thanks!

The accounts are linked somewhere; you just need to find where? If you already looked in Vendors' Records, also look in Customers' Records (options). 
 Not sure if you have looked in all the Modules Linked Accounts, but look in Receivables, Payables, Payroll and Inventory Linked Accounts in Settings.

 If you are using the inventory module in Sage 50 then you cannot post to them directly with a journal entry. Each inventory item has 4 linked accounts associated with them; an inventory account, cost of sales account, sales account and a variance account.
