Hello, this is my problem : emails written in French (with accented letters) are going from sage 50 to outlook no problem, but are arriving at the recipient with "?" in place of accented letters. How can I fix it?
Thank you

Hello, I'm able to write the report in French, but when I send it my client receive it with "?" in place of accented letters.
So , thank you but your tip doesn't solve my problem.
I would go to Outlook and on the Sent/Receive menu, there is an option to Work Offline. Turn it on so that any email sent will not leave.
Return to Sage 50 and email what you normally would with thé açcents. Then go to your Outbox and open the email sitting there. Does it still have accents? If so, great, however, that email is currently set up to be sent as Plain text. I am not sure if that will support accents. You can try using the Format Text menu to change it to HTML before you send it.
I would also try to send one directly to yourself and let it go as is to see if you receive the email without accents. Then try the above and send it to yourself again. Don't forget to turn your Work Offline option off again.
I don't know if this will work but it is a way to try things without sending to others but still using your email system as normally as possible.
Thank you Richard S. Ridings, it worked this way.
Regards
I hate to say it was a guess but I'm glad it worked.
