New to Sage and starting to customize the forms to suit our needs. We require that, when quoting certain products, the estimate does not show the Total Amount box at the bottom. We are pricing products by linear feet and we only need to provide LF pricing (or SqF pricing) for the different products but the quantities at this stage have not been decided therefore having an amount at the bottom of the form is both: unnecessary and confusing.

I have managed to edit the columns so the total amount does not show in the columns but despite having deleted/removed the box of "Total Amount" while in the designer window, it stubbornly keeps showing up in the actual form. Is there a way to make it disappear?
