    Hi  ,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand you're encountering issues with your shared data files synchronizing unexpectedly during transactions. This can occur if there's a desynchronization with Remote Data Access (RDA) or if an outdated version of Sage 50 is in use.

Here are some steps to resolve this:

    1. Close Sage 50 using Task Manager.
    2. Ensure you have the latest version of Sage 50 installed. You can download it from the Sage 50: Download Portal.
    3. Try to open the file on a different computer, logging in with the data owner's Sage ID and sysadmin.
    4. Pause and then resume sharing.
    5. On the original computer, try to download the RDA file again.

Remote Data Access (RDA) allows for real-time synchronization in multi-user mode, and it should only take a few seconds to reflect changes made by other users. However, if you cannot open the file on any computer, please contact Sage 50 support for a potential RDA data reset.

For more details and FAQs about RDA, including its benefits and limitations, please refer to our Remote Data Access - Frequently Asked Questions article. Remember, while RDA offers flexibility, it's important to maintain regular backups of your company data.
