Problem Adding Logo to Invoice

I am a new SAGE 50 customer. I am trying to setup our invoice with a company logo. I have followed step-by-step instructions for adding a logo to an invoice. When I select the logo I want to add (a JPG file, although I have also tried BMP, PNG, GIF), it shows up on the form as a small "temp.bmp" folder icon. No logo. I have tried this multiple times and have searched the internet for a fix. What is happening? How do I get our logo to appear?

    Thank you for reaching out. Based on what you've described, it seems that the logo file you're attempting to add may be either corrupted or too large. Here are some resolution steps that might help:

    If the logo file is too large:

    1. Save the logo file on your desktop, either as a bitmap (.BMP) or jpeg (.jpg, .jpeg).
    2. Right-click on the file and open it with an image editor (for example, Paint).
    3. Select the Resize icon in the editor and choose to resize the image by percent or pixels.
    4. Determine the appropriate size for the logo.
    5. "Save As" with the name of the file and ensure the file type is accepted (.bmp, .jpg, .jpeg).
    6. Select Setup, Settings, Company, Logo and Browse to the desktop to choose the resized logo.
    7. Click OK, then return to the Sage logo screen and click OK again.

    If the logo file is a .BMP:

    • If your logo is a bitmap (.BMP) and you can see it but can't add it, your .BMP file may not be a standard .bmp filetype or is corrupted.
    • Open the file in a picture editing software (such as Microsoft Paint) and save the file as a .JPG (File, Save As...).
    • Use this .jpg file as the logo to add.
