AccPac Dos version 4.2

I, and my accountant are both retired.. he had 8 customers on the old dos version of accpac. The PC failed, and nothing we have available has a 5 /4 inch floppy drive to reinstall the program. I was able to salvage the data off the hard drive, but the program obviously needs a reinstall as I get a config.sys error when trying to start it in DosBox. I am wondering where I could download the program so I can attempt to reinstall it or if anyone can help out?

Hello Don Xman,

Sage doesn't provide downloads for obsolete software. It is possible one of our certified consultants or someone else here on the community hub may have what you are after. If you've still got the disks, it is possible you could buy a usb 5 1/4 drive to plug into the new machine. You could possibly get the data you are looking for that way. You may also have better luck posting in the Sage 300 section as this sounds like it is probably an old version of Sage 300 and not an old version of Sage 50.

I have ACCPAC DOS 6.1 but if you want to install on Windows 10 or even Windows 7 you need a DOS VM. I also can help you to convert data to Sage 50.
