EFT set-up issues

I have just purchased the EFT add on . I use the RBC and they do not acknowledge a 10 digit user/ID/originator/organization or customer number. They said to use my client card number which is 16 digits. Because I do not have a number for this part of the EFT set up issue.

Hi Michael, who did you ask about originator number in RBC? As far as I know, you would have to call RBC to setup account i.e. RBC Express first.  Maybe you can call them and double check

previously there is another user have the similar issue Link

Yes - you do need to set up RBC Express in order to coordinate the EFT with RBC. There are agreements that needs to be signed and fees charged by RBC to do this.
Just call your branch and ask for someone with RBC Express ACH Direct Deposit. There are tokens involved as well to be used when processing the transactions between EFT and RBC.
the RBC Express system works very well and can be same day transfer depending on time of day and recipients' banks.
