Synchronise data between 2 pcs

We are two in the office who invoice customers, create new customers, pretty much edits & update all the information on Sage 50 2016 Premium, both PCs are on a network if this makes syncing them any easier.

Alot of people say hey just save the backup when you are done and then open it on the other one. That isn't practical for us, we work different days sometimes, and it'll become very messy one of us might upload a previous backup if we aren't aware so we want to avoid that situation happening.

What I want to know
Can we both use Sage 50 at the same time?
- Can we invoice
- Create Customers
- Etc..
And if we cant do something what is it


What I need to do
Is be able to create invoices/customers/edit inventory (Maybe not at the same time as my partner if it isn't possible) but I need to be able to create an invoice on my pc and it eventually syncs to the other pc if ever my partner needs to pull up that invoice in reference. I need the data to correspond with each PC how do I approach that?
