Hi,

I got this sage backup from a new client (Real Estate Development company). They have two of the inventory accounts (1502, 1503) linked to some of the projects. Now, I want to adjust both of the inventory (account balance), but the two accounts are not in the account list when I try to enter a journal entry. We just want to keep it simple stupid, and do not want any "system automatic adjustment, YE auto COGS allocation etc..." We just want to adjust the balance between accounts. Because we keep a separated record for the project detail, we do not need Sage to do it for us, so other than the balance amount, inventory information in the system means nothing to us.

I saw some of the "linked account/Linked inventory account" discussion posted in the past, they are helpful, but now I want to know how to unlink my inventory account as long as they do not screw up my current trial balance, so I can start posting transactions manually.

My question is how do I unlink my inventory accounts from others, so I can post to my inventory accounts directly.
