That error message means that there is some scrambled or missing data somewhere.

Running the database maintenance program under the Maintenance menu may repair the problem, if not you may have to go back to older backups from before the problem arose.

I have done both, Data is ok. but problem not fixed.

Now I have found this same error msg pop up while I make some other changes; for example, company settings.

Check date integrity:

DATA IS OK.

Run advanced database check:  

THE SAGE50 DATABASE VERIFICATION TOOL DID NOT FIND ANY PROBLEMS WITH YOUR COMPANY FILE.

To  go back to older backups from before the problem arose, I have no idea how old to go back, because I have no idea when this problem arose. I have just found it out right now while doing this changes.

Continue, Now I have found same error msg while I am trying to make changes in SETTINGS in another company's file.

Could I say that it is software's problem, not data.

Maybe you should have a talk with Tony Martin to see if he feels it might be a data problem.  He is a repair expert and may have seen this kind of thing before.  www.code-six.com
