Sage Simply Accounting 2012 premium crash using project allocation

SOLVED

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 on two computers exactly the same.  No issue on one system however on the second system when I try to allocate an expense to a project, simply crashes.

Any ideas as to what I can look at?

I have re-installed Simply Accounting Premium 2012 but no effect.

Hi Forge, you can try open and test sample company on computer that you have issue with. If sample does the same, then environmental or software issue, if sample is fine, you might have data issue. Then I suggest you have to try does it happen only to expense, and revenue is fine? Does it only have to one expense account, specific project name or specific vendor name.

Hi Jason, thank you for replying. While I did not try it on the sample company, I did try it with other companies resulting in the same crash of Simply. I did try both income and expense allocations and all crashed Simply. Left with no option, I reverted my system back to Windows 7 premium, and everything is working again.
Strange that my other system which is the same as the system I am working on did not have a problem with project allocation after the upgrade.
Now I am left to determine if I should simply remain with Windows 7 on all systems rather than have systems in the office with different versions of Windows.
