Yes they do.  But this issue happens once you enter the item # it will pick whether it is one description or the other and if you are not paying attention you might send out the invoice with the wrong description.

Curtis Barranoik had a good suggestion that could cause this.

Also, check to see if you have another UOM or another Warehouse inventory item with the same UPC but different description, especially if you have had the problem repeat itself.  Here's an SQL query you can use, or just check the inventory module and make sure you have all warehouses selected. 

SELECT WHSE, CODE, INV_DESCRIPTION from INVENTORY WHERE INVENTORY.CODE = '11175342'

I tried out searching to see if that item number is listed to another warehouse but no it is only linked to the one warehouse.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Maria Ribeiro , Did you try running the SQL statement that I provided in Pervasive Control Center or Actian Control center? Another reason, this could have happened is if you have or had a salesperson that is copying previous sales that had that item description. If you wanted these to all be consistent, you could edit the description in the Sales History Detail table, and it should stop happening.
