Hi All,
Ok, so I have been in business for 23 years. I do all my bookkeeping in excel. I'm looking to finally move into an actual accounting software.
I've tried quickbooks and... I dislike it. I *could* make it work, but it is too user friendly and obfuscates most basic accounting features. The support has been lackluster and I haven't even moved to QB yet, just tried it out.
What I need:
1 user
Multi currency support
Ability to modify chart of accounts
Make journal entries
Simple financial statements
Nice to have:
Hook into my bank, paypal, visa and pull transactions - bank with RBC.
But even that is not a deal breaker. I can do a reconciliation and post it if needed.
Everything else I have great processes in place for. I don't need client billing, A/R or invoicing, I don't need sales tax tracking, don't need payroll, don't need vendors to be setup and payables tracked and all the rest... I just want a basic bookkeeping software so I can move away from this ancient excel sheet with macros from many years ago.
Is Sage business cloud accounting the right product for me, or should I look at Sage 50... or are there any other recommendations?
