Poll: Which of the following best describes the affect of switching to digital tax records (MTD)?

  • I have had mixed experiences with my clients when moving to MTD.  Some have really embraced the change and seen a really positive impact on their business but others have seen it as a very negative experience and it's been very hard to work with these clients.  I am only helping them do what the Government has insisted upon but they've seen me as the enemy in the change!

  • We had a few challenges with other clients as they were used to doing things manually.  We overcame these challenges by communicating , explaining why there was a change and the advantages.  In most cases people are resistant to change.  Sometimes the clients mistake us Accountants for the taxman.
