I have been in contact with the SAGE helpline by telephone and it has been confirmed that the bank feed is NOT compatible with Barclays Corporate.  They have put a request in to the Development Team but do not have a lead time for an enhancement.  Extrmeley disappointed by this considering it was a unique selling point for our company.

any update on the Barclays Iportal bank feeds? Its not coming up on the selector option still

I can select "Barclays (UK) - Corporate" from the list of available banks - I am taken to the Barclays iPortal log in page via "Plaid", but the LogIn button on the usual Login page is greyed out and cannot be selected.  I have ensured all the "Barclays Troubleshooter" advice has been followed - Gemalto software correctly installed, compatible browser and operating system and added to trusted sites - but still unable to authenticate as login button cannot be clicked.  Is this the issue you are having?  I am under the impression that it is Plaid that is not compatible with Barclays iPortal.

I can confirm the Barclays Corporate Bank Feed is still not supported due to a known issue. The article which explains how to setup bank feeds has a note to that effect.

On a slightly separate note, which of the options were you going to use if you were able to use the Barclays Corporate Bank Feed - Smart Card or Biometrics?

I use the Smart Card for authentication.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I was looking for someone who uses the Biometrics. We wanted to double check if the bank feed fails in the same way if using the Biometrics Scanner.

We also use Smart card not biometrics so can't help with the testing sorry.  I got a different help page for the bank feeds which has Barclays corporate as being on the compatible list so thanks for the link to Sage knowledgebase

As a general rule of thumb the helpfiles are a guide as to what the program is designed to do, whereas if an issue is found, we record it for our Business Partner network in the Known Issues database. In addition to this we may produce an article or add a note to an existing article in the knowledgebase to let direct customers know. So if something weird happens it is best to report it to your Business Partner or search against the gb-kb.sage.com .

Hi Julia and G, I have added a note to the known issue advising the content of the article would need to be adjusted when the issue is resolved in future. Can we mark this thread as answered as there is a link to the KB article which will be updated when this matter is resolved in future?

I am having the same issue with some American banks, the Plaid pop up says Chrome is outdated but i've set Sage to Edge and our Chrome is up to date anyway! Frustrating.

Following on from this over 1 year ago, has any progress been made? We still find that the e-banking setup takes us to barclays.co.uk instead of to the iportal iportal.barclays.com/.../login.
I've spoken directly to PLAID before, and in a session with them they showed me on their own system that selecting Barclays (UK) Corporate takes them to the right page. Why is it then that it does not do that within Sage 200?
Here is their response in April 2023:
"After speaking with our team, they have let me know that you will need to reach out to Sage directly regarding which portal you'll need to use to connect your Barclays Corporate account, as this is something that is set on their end. Sage's team is also able to reach out to our team directly in case they need to troubleshoot with us directly."
Do we have any timeline or expected date on when this bank feed will be fixed?

We’re currently working with Barclays on making a change to how Bank Feeds works for some products including Sage 200, this is with a view to making Barclays Corporate feeds available. We’re looking for customers who would be able to work with us in reviewing this – we don’t anticipate that it will take more than 15-20 mins of your time and you would need to be available mid-February. Please note: you would need to authenticate via the Barclays mobile secure login not via Smart Card or Biometric secure login.
